I'm guessing the four we see in the picture are for the Intel chipset and the others are elsewhere - possible for eSATA and are exposed outside the box. Using Intel's software application you can "clear" the error, and whenever I did it the error would show up again and on the same drive. Then if it does, I think my hard drive is ok (as from previous tests, nothing seems to be wrong) Then I will clock my system back to 3.5Ghz and see
It helped me resolve the error message which I've been wondering about for a while. I found out that the system runs iTunes fine as long as I remove all of the podcasts. I don't know the WD usilities, but for Maxtor both the disks and the diag-software are over-optimistic in their thresholds. Raid Error On Boot Up This took the bit flip error setting of the drive and reset it to off. Make 2 profiles( i believe your mobo has this option) in the bios one for Normal and one for OC settings.
The error code is fixxed now but it continues the request.
