Internet Explorer 10 Error 1000
I quickly downloaded Chrome so that I had another browser. While that was going on, Norton Live update fixed itself. So I uninstalled IE 9, but IE 8 would not open either. How do I remove it? Log in using an administrator account and try resetting again. There is no fix for this issue.

i found the .dll that was cousing the conflict…. Faulting Application Name Iexplore.exe Version 11 Under method #8 above I have multiple ".dll" files. If it is present and ticked, remove the tick from it. Just don't do a Live update otherwise it will install the update again.
