I don't really see any SATA type drivers for Windows 8. If you don't have that option, then you can't use the Smart Response. Each disk is 149GB so the total capacity is 298GB. So far my biggest gripe is I don't think Lenovo has the System Update working yet, at least as far my laptop sees nothing..so driver installation is all manual.

But from one Intel site, your chipset is not listed as one to be used with the Intel Smart Response technology.
